About
Goldfields NDT

Established in the Goldfields. Built for the Goldfields.

Goldfields NDT was established in Kalgoorlie-Boulder in 2011 by local resident Dirk de Beer, who identified the need for more non-destructive testing services to be available in the mining heartland of Western Australia. The business was built from the ground up to serve the specific demands of the Goldfields mining industry.

In the years since, the company has expanded significantly — earning a reputation for quality workmanship and reliable service delivery across the Goldfields and broader WA. The continued demand from the mining industry necessitated the construction of a purpose-built workshop and laboratory in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, which the company relocated to in 2021.

From this state-of-the-art facility, Goldfields NDT is able to offer a wider and more efficient scope of services. As a local company with local employees, we have a direct stake in the communities and industries we serve.

Being local means we can mobilise quickly, respond to urgent requirements, and maintain the kind of direct working relationships that larger, remote providers cannot offer. That proximity — and the accountability it creates — is central to how we operate.
